Cookie Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PureVPS Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16398501, registered office 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom) — trading as "livemy.app", "we", "us" — uses cookies and similar technologies on livemy.app, my.livemy.app, docs.livemy.app, and our other web properties (together, the "Service").

It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly, and our Terms of Service.

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences — staying signed in, keeping your consent choices, understanding which pages people use.

We also use technologies that work like cookies: local storage and session storage (data kept in your browser), pixels and tags (small pieces of code that record that a page or action loaded), and session-replay scripts that reconstruct how a page was used. Where this Policy says "cookies", it covers all of these.

Cookies set by livemy.app are first-party. Cookies set by another domain loaded on our pages — Google, Microsoft, Stripe — are third-party, and those providers can read them when you visit other sites that use the same technology.

Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK and EU GDPR, we may only place non-essential cookies after you agree to them.

If you are in the UK or the EEA, you see a consent banner the first time you visit livemy.app, powered by CookieYes. Nothing but strictly necessary cookies is set until you make a choice. You can:

  • accept all — every category below is enabled;
  • reject all — only strictly necessary cookies are used;
  • customise — enable individual categories.

If you are outside the UK and the EEA, we do not show the banner, and the analytics cookies listed in Section 3.2 are set when you arrive, as permitted by the law that applies where you are. You can switch them off at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our footer, or your browser controls (Section 6). We determine your region from your IP address at the time of your visit.

Your choice is stored in the cookieyes-consent cookie so we do not ask again on every page. Wherever you are, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in our footer — the change takes effect immediately for future page loads. Withdrawing consent does not make the earlier processing unlawful.

Consent records are kept so we can demonstrate compliance, and we re-ask for consent at least every 12 months, and sooner if what we use cookies for materially changes.

3. Categories We Use

3.1 Strictly necessary — always on

These cookies are required for the Service to work. They keep you signed in, secure your session, remember your consent choice, and help prevent fraud at checkout. They cannot be switched off, and we set them without consent because the Service you asked for cannot be delivered without them.

These cookies tell us which pages people visit, where they arrive from, and where they get stuck, so we can improve the product and the site. They are set only if you accept the analytics category.

Session replay. Microsoft Clarity may record a replay of your visit — mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and the pages you saw — and build heatmaps from it. We use this only to find usability problems. Clarity is configured to mask input fields, so text you type into forms, passwords, and payment details are not captured. Replays are retained by Microsoft for up to 30 days. Details: privacy.microsoft.com.

Google Analytics. We run GA4 with IP addresses truncated at collection and with Google Signals and advertising features turned off, so the data is not used to build advertising profiles. You can also install Google's opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Cookies that remember preferences you set (for example UI choices) and that are not essential. We currently use no cookies in this category. If we add any, they will appear here and in the consent banner before they are used.

3.4 Advertising and tracking — not used

We do not run advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking pixels on livemy.app. We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising. If that ever changes, we will add the category to the banner and ask for your consent before setting anything.

4. Third-Party Providers

The providers below can process data collected through their cookies under their own policies:

Some of these providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards described in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies on Apps You Deploy

livemy.app hosts applications built by our users. Any cookies set by an application deployed on a livemy.site subdomain or on a customer's custom domain are set by that application's owner, not by us. We do not control them and do not have access to what they collect. If you deploy an app, you are responsible for its own cookie notice and consent — see Section 4 of our Terms of Service.

6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

Independently of our banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout. Deleting cookies also deletes your stored consent choice, so the banner will appear again.

7. Changes to This Policy

We update this Policy when the cookies we use change. Material changes are reflected in the consent banner and re-consent is collected where the law requires it. The "Effective date" above shows the latest revision.
