Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PureVPS Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16398501, registered office 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom) — trading as "livemy.app", "we", "us" — collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website at livemy.app, our platform, dashboard, APIs, MCP server, and related services (together, the "Service").

PureVPS Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). If you sign up through a third-party provider (such as Google or GitHub), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy. We keep records of your plan, billing history, invoices, and the last four digits and brand of your card as provided by Stripe.

Your content. The Service exists to host and run applications you deploy. We store the code, files, environment configuration, databases, and other content you upload or connect (via ZIP upload, Git, or MCP-connected AI tools). We treat your content as yours — see Section 4 for how we handle it.

Usage and log data. We automatically collect technical data when you use the Service: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps, deploy and build logs, API and MCP request logs, and error reports. Actions performed through the MCP server or API are rate-limited and audit-logged for security.

Analytics data. Where you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity on our website. Clarity may record session replays (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks) and generate heatmaps to help us improve the product. These tools use cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.

Support communications. If you contact us (for example at support@livemy.app), we keep the correspondence and any information you choose to share.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including building, deploying, and serving your applications;
  • process payments, manage subscriptions, and send billing-related communications;
  • secure the Service, including scanning deployed code for malicious content, preventing abuse, enforcing rate limits, and maintaining audit logs;
  • respond to support requests;
  • understand how the Service is used and improve it, including through analytics and session replay tools;
  • send service announcements and, where permitted, product updates (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time);
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — creating and managing your account, hosting and serving your projects, processing payments, and providing support.
  • Legitimate interests — securing the Service, preventing fraud and abuse, maintaining audit logs, and improving the product. We balance these interests against your rights.
  • Consent — analytics and session-replay cookies, and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — keeping accounting and tax records, and responding to lawful requests.

4. Your Content

Applications and data you deploy remain yours. We access your content only as needed to operate the Service (building, deploying, serving, backing up), to run automated security scans, to respond to a support request you make, to enforce our Terms of Service, or as required by law. We do not sell your content or use it to train AI models.

If your application collects personal data from its own users, you are the controller of that data and we act as your processor in respect of it. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, informing your users, and providing your own privacy notice.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers (processors) who help us run the Service: Stripe (payments), Google (analytics), Microsoft (Clarity analytics), and our infrastructure, email, and support tooling providers. They may only use your data to provide services to us, under written terms.
  • Legal and safety recipients, where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PureVPS Ltd, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal data.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: strictly necessary (authentication, keeping you signed in, security, fraud prevention at checkout), functional (remembering preferences you set), and analytics (understanding how the Service is used).

Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the Service cannot work without them. Analytics cookies — including those used by Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity — are set only after you consent through our cookie banner if you are in the UK or the EEA. Outside those regions we do not show the banner and analytics cookies are set on arrival, as permitted by local law. Wherever you are, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in our footer, or in your browser.

Microsoft Clarity may record session replays and heatmaps of your visit, with input fields masked. For details of how Microsoft handles that data, see privacy.microsoft.com. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

We do not run advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking pixels on our website.

A full list of the individual cookies we use, who sets them, what they do, and how long they last is in our Cookie Policy.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Your deployed content is retained while your projects exist and is deleted after you delete a project or your account, subject to a short backup window. Billing and accounting records are kept for six years, as required by UK law. Log and analytics data are retained for limited periods appropriate to their purpose and then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
  • not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects (we do not make such decisions).

To exercise any of these rights, email support@livemy.app. We will respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer for a complex request.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. If you are in the EEA, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.

9. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United Kingdom. Some of our service providers — including Stripe, Google, and Microsoft — process data in the United States and other countries outside the UK and EEA.

Where we transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional technical and organisational measures where needed. You can request details of the safeguards used by emailing support@livemy.app.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords, access controls, rate limiting, audit logging, and automated security scanning of deployed code. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the ICO and, where required, you.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at support@livemy.app and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. The "Effective date" above shows when this Policy was last revised.
