Overview

What is Uptime Kuma?

Uptime Kuma is an open-source uptime monitor with a clean dashboard. It pings your websites, APIs and services on a schedule, records response times, and alerts you the moment something goes down — over email, Slack, Telegram and about 90 other channels. It also generates public status pages you can share with users or clients.

Hosted monitoring tools bill per monitor or cap you at a handful of checks on the free tier, so the more you build, the more you pay to know it's alive. Self-hosted Uptime Kuma has no such cap — add as many monitors as you like, check as often as you like, and the price stays the price of the server.

How much does it cost to self-host Uptime Kuma?
Free to try — the Free plan is $0 and gives you one project on a livemy.site subdomain. Maker is $10/mo and adds a custom domain, 10 GB and a 99.5% uptime SLA; Pro is $25/mo. Daily backups are a $5/mo add-on. No plan charges per monitor or per check.
Is self-hosted Uptime Kuma hard to maintain?
Not here. The template ships with storage and free SSL already wired up. When a new version lands you click redeploy in the dashboard — or trigger it over MCP from your AI tool. There's no server to patch and nothing to install on your computer.
Can I put my status page on my own domain?
Yes, on Maker ($10/mo) and above. Point your domain at the project and livemy.app issues the certificate for you. On the Free plan the dashboard lives on a livemy.site subdomain — SSL is included either way.
What happens to my monitoring data?
