What is Documenso?
Documenso is the open-source way to get documents signed: upload a PDF, place signature fields, send a link, and track who signed when. Templates for recurring paperwork, multiple signers, audit trails and certificates — the core of DocuSign without the enterprise sales motion.
E-signature vendors bill per user and cap how many envelopes you can send — pricing designed for procurement departments, not for a founder sending five contracts a month. Self-hosted Documenso has no envelope counter: send one document or a thousand, same flat price.
There's a quieter reason to self-host too: contracts are some of the most sensitive files a business touches. On livemy.app the whole signing flow — documents, signers, audit logs — runs on your own server, deployed from the template in about two minutes with SSL included.
